Same"beasts", Different country.

This post is dedicated to my asshole dearest friend, busy guy, O.Qtami.

I've been bored of doing all the work lately and so I called a day off to just sit and do some reading and a little bit gaming for I haven't played in such a long time and since its summer, I wanted to enjoy the gaming part as I truly miss it. I've been replaying Valkyrie profile one on PSP on the hard mode to collect all the characters and to finish it 100%, almost more than half of it. As well as a little bit of wii with brother, it feels good when he goes berserk whenever I win. After having a sweet plate of stuffed veins which happens to be my favorite plate of all I pick the phone and call my friend to see if we are going to jam out. Settled when, dressed up took a cab and went to the rendezvous place. At the end of the day, my friend offered to drop me home when I had the feeling that we will be so lost. At almost 1 am we left to drop me, I entered home at 3:10. (….) what happened in between is that we were in a magic dream with metal music going in a totally pitch black area up hills and down hills cursing each other and dying to find the home. We asked maybe 6-9 people, we saw the same accident thrice, we went through this roundabout maybe over eleven times hence it became the holy roundabout. A hellacious scene occurred in the middle of struggling for the glory road and after suspecting 5 buildings;

Phat: I smell hope…go this way.
O: I smell…SHIT ! but am going anyway.

Five minutes later we face a dead end.

Phat: ….
O: wow…I smell fucking dead ENDS ! KHOSH BTEEZY!
Phat: "suffocates of laughing".

At the end we pulled over and let a taxi go where I described the place, we followed it and returned home safely. And we literally felt like punching each other out of the whole knaves-wannabe we had to turn into and the new words we heard of them a good example would be something far worse than how I would make fun of Jordanians, something more like "El '3erbal Ma Ye9ga3" which I heard randomly and got my arm ripped off for that, moreover the lovely signs with names like "Bay6oor El 7ajamneh".

Random facts:

1-If you have a pickatu doll, do not stare at its ears for you will feel sick.
2-In Jordan, they either love you and be your best friends forever, or become your eternal arch enemy.
3-In Jordan, when you shower you never get dandruff whereas in Qatar you always do.
4-Metal Gear Solid Four, the game, would make you want to smoke so bad.
5-I enjoy doing BBQs while being half-naked.

Unsuspected photo taker

I was sitting in class today. during COMP325, G next to me, minding my own business and drawing. About 15 mins into the lecture, this guy enters with an AWESOME Nightmare Before Christmas beanie (NBC is one of my fav movies ever =P). So my mind makes note of that, then I simply go back to my drawing. Suddenly I feel this shadow looming over me, and look up to see awesome beanie dude moving in to sit next to me. I had put my bag leaning on the seat next to me, assuming no one would occupy it. So yeah, it falls over and my phone and bank card clutters to the ground xD

We both mumble a "sorry" as he picks up my stuff and hands them over and I move my bag to the other side of me, next to G's bag, and then just continue with my drawing. For some strange reason, I notice that drawing during lectures helps me to concentrate more on what is being said by the Lecturer. Human-computer interactions (otherwise known as COMP325) is a pretty dull paper. It encapsulate concepts such as making software as user friendly as possible, and catering to all the demands that it is being made for. The Lecturer spent a whole 20 mins telling us about her experience of lurking in music stores and watching people's behaviour when they shop for music CDs. Seriously, how creepy is that? Seeing a lady watching you as you go through a selection of CDs and taking notes of every little thing you do xD Apprently this was done a few years back, before the birth of Itunes and Winamp, as a means of looking into building an efficient digital music library. We're also gonna be doing stuff like that throughout the course apparently, watching people in the enviroment our concept software will be most used in.

At the end of the lecture as everyone starts walking out, awesome beanie dude gives a little cough and asks if he could possibly take a photo of my drawing xD He does, and says something like he really really likes the patterns. I smile, go thank you, and out he goes lol. I start packing away my stuff then G goes "You know he had his phone out through the whole lecture and was probably taking pictures of you drawing ... "

=O

I go "No way!" coz I didn't even feel a thing! She tells me that he wasnt recording my profile, but just my hands as I worked on the drawing. Honestly, didn't know what to make of the situation, except that I felt pretty flattered that some dude liked my drawing so much (probably gonna copy it or something now xD) I've seen awesome beanie dude around uni seveal times, with a huge camera in his arms. I think he's a movie maker or something similar to that.

Uploaded a pic of the unfinished drawing ..

Prespectives

Me and Phat are both reading Interview with a Vampire. This is my second time reading the book and am planning to go through the Chronicles again. It's a pretty dark and gruseome novel, not appealing to most people ... so I made Phat read it as well at the same time =P

The dude is still on page 80 while I've reached page 207 xD But it's not cause he isn't enjoying the novel but because he's currently overseas on Holiday and so is busyish with his family.

We spoke about the book today, and how he is likeing it so far. The vampire Louis is totally gay according to him and Lestat he likes very much, and I totally agreed with him lol. However, when he came to talk about a certain part in the story, I didn't so much agree with him. Lestat sets out to kill a young man, and Louis gets hot on his trail to stop him. Louis attempt in foiling Lestat's plan is in vain, as Lestat managed to get to the young man and kill him.

With me, reading through that part of the story, when Lestat kills the poor young man, I was really dissapointed and sad. I wanted Louis to stop Lestat, because the young man had so much potential and life ahead of him. When I told Phat my take on the story, he told me that he infact was grinning because of the murder Lestat commited. That actually kinda got me smiling, because I know me and him will have slightly different opinions of the book by the time we finish it, which will make into an intresting conversation =P

NEW WORDS I LEARNT TODAY!

*Aesthetic Decision: Aesthetic is to do with beauty and good taste, so an aesthetic decision is a decision based on sentiment and taste.

*Absolved: freed from any question of guilt

*Defunct: having ceased to exist or live, dead. This blog is kinda defunct xD

Hero (Driver) of the Day.

Hero(driver) of the day,

I'm the type of guy who never complains about driving as long as I'm willing to drive, especially when I go out alone aftermidnight or go to sea with company and have tea, but to the point of what happened today and to how much sweat my ass poured today for driving under this lovely hot sun. I must, truthfully-passionatly, say FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING CAR-LESS PEOPLE ! I wish (only today) to come back with no license and just rest my butt off at the home next to my baby 7up's' bottles and play or just watch porn. I was totally the hero of the day, I brought papers, food, picked and dropped humans for many people that I couldn't remember that I had to eat or pee.

Why I'm so pissed? Laziness runs in my blood.

How lazy I am? I'm actually holding a big shit right now and I'm not feeling like going to the bathroom, but instead I preferred writing this .. hmm I should continue what I was doing.

Playing: MGS4
Reading: Interview with a vampire
Watching: Hustle.
